Please convey my thanks to the committee of the Cactus & Succulent Society of Australia for inviting me to judge at the recent show.

I must congratulate the committee and the members, helpers, etc. for putting on such a wonderful show.  The venue was fabulous, the staging of the exhibits with the round tables was really good and the standard and number of exhibits was fantastic.  I would also like to mention the various people helping on the doors and taking the money for the plants.  This part of the show was very well organised and they were all doing a good job.  The numbering system for judging was also really good and made it a lot easier for me, as a judge, to work out which section each plant was in.  It was lovely to get a nice cup of tea from the "tea man" after the judging as well.

When I saw the number of people lined up at the door waiting to get in to see the show I also realised that it would be a successful one.
