You are invited to attend the 22nd Australasian cactus and succulent conference called Succulenticon 2012 to be held in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne, Victoria.
The registration fee covers the costs of the event (not accommodation). Because of the size of the venue numbers are restricted to about 100 attendees, and we anticipate it to fill quickly. The Succulenticon registration fee of $275.00 per person includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; dinner on Saturday and Monday and bus trips during the weekend, but not Friday's pre-convention Melbourne Highlights optional bus tour. (Convention registration also does not include dinner on Friday or Sunday, or any breakfast).

Presentations The main presentations from international speakers are usually about 45 minutes to an hour in duration, with shorter talks, slide shows, videos or demonstrations now invited from everyone. This allows for as many participants as possible to make a direct contribution to the proceedings. Presentations on anything to do with cacti and succulents are welcome. Presentations can be of either 15 – 20 minutes duration. 15 minutes is recommended especially for first time speakers or attendees. These speakers will be given $50 per 15 minute time slot in appreciation of their time and effort. In some cases it will be possible to have two of these back to back (total half hour). They need not be scholarly but we do expect them to be informative and entertaining. (Handout sheets accompanying talks are invited for inclusion in the convention Proceedings booklet). Please indicate your intentions on the REGISTRATION form.
Auction
We ask everyone for a worthwhile contribution to our auction at the Saturday night dinner.
Plant Sales Plant Sales will be available to all participants with 20% commission. There is no lockable area but there is a very good large marquee area for sales. Approximately 30 trestle tables will be available for this. Plant sales for convention attendees only except Sunday when we will advertise and open to the public.
