About the Event

Hope  you can join us at the CSSA May Gathering! For those unable to attend  the hall we will still be Live Streaming to the CSSA Members-Only Group  and Zooming (details on how to join can be found below).

DUE  TO THE POSSIBILITY OF CHANGING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS PLEASE ENSURE YOU  CHECK THIS EVENT AND EMAILS FROM CSSA BEFORE ATTENDING THE HALL.

This month is something a little different! We will feature a video presentation - Succulent Prospects

In  April 2019, the UN published a Global Assessment of Biodiversity which  warns of the likely extinction of thousands of species if human activity  continues as in the past. We will be screening three short films  presented as "Succulent Prospects", put together and kindly shared by  Derek Tribble from the British Cactus and Succulent Society. All include  succulents and raise issues about people and plants of direct concern  to us as growers. These three South African educational films  provide an opportunity for cactus and succulent growers to consider  important issues threatening the future of their chosen plants.

POTM: Any caudex
