CACTUS AND SUCCULENT SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA INC

Based in Victoria, The Cactus and Succulent Society of Australia Inc is a fun and friendly organisation that prides itself on having members from all walks of life and of all ages, whether a botanist or home gardener, collector or commercial grower.

The Society holds a range of events including monthly meetings where members have the opportunity to view plants from expert growers’ collections, compete in competitions, buy and sell plants, seek professional advice, and enjoy rubbing shoulders with a huge, passionate and knowledgeable community!

Members also receive our fantastic full colour magazine as well as access to our extensive library of specialised books and resources, and gain entry to our CSSA Members-Only Facebook group where the conversation never stops!

The Society also aims to advance the understanding and appreciation of cacti and succulents throughout Australia and worldwide. Through education and scientific study we encourage conservation through cultivation.

The Cactus and Succulent Society of Australia Inc (CSSA) is the oldest Cactus and Succulent Society in Australia, established in Melbourne in 1927. Similar societies are located Australia wide, in most capital cities and some country areas (see 'Helpful Link' page for more).
